Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is in a superb location, right in the center of town overlooking beautiful canals, close to all the attractions and great dining options. The rooms are spacious and offer lovely views from the dual aspect windows, although maneuvering around the step up to the window can be a bit tricky at night. The service is incredibly friendly and helpful, though sometimes overwhelmed during busy dining periods. The dining experience in the fabulous restaurant with spectacular views is superb, offering a variety of choices. Overall, a wonderful place to explore Bruges with a great ambience.
The hotel offers a small room with a small attic-style window, clean and spacious, in a great location overlooking the canal, making it one of the iconic photo spots in Bruges. The service was extremely helpful and accommodating, especially the woman who seems to be the 'beating heart' of the place, always going out of their way to assist. The location couldn't have been more perfect, with incredible views over the canal and the Belfry tower visible from our room. The dining experience was filling and delicious with great service. However, the raised bathtub under a low slanted ceiling might not be suitable for everyone, and the room had a musty smell with old and stained furnishings.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel with stunning views across the canal and nicely decorated rooms. The service was attentive and the location was picture postcard perfect, nestled in the heart of old Bruges. While the dining was fairly basic, it was enough not to go hungry. The hotel offers a charming stay with some minor noise disturbances from nearby restaurants.
